Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 10, 2026

These terms apply to your use of wattfolk.com. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Information, not professional advice

Wattfolk publishes general guides about solar products, home energy and electricity savings. We work hard to keep them accurate, but specifications, prices, laws and utility rules change. Always check details with the manufacturer, your utility and your local building department before you buy or install anything. Nothing on Wattfolk is professional electrical, legal, tax or financial advice. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and local codes, and use a licensed electrician wherever work on your home wiring is needed.

Savings estimates

Estimates of solar output, energy use and savings are examples based on stated assumptions. Your results will depend on your location, weather, shading, equipment and electricity rates.

Some links on Wattfolk are affiliate links, including links to Amazon. If you buy through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Purchases are made with the retailer, not with Wattfolk, and the retailer’s terms, prices, delivery and returns policies apply. See our Affiliate and Advertising Disclosure.

Third-party websites

We link to other websites for reference and shopping. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.

The text, images and design of Wattfolk belong to Wattfolk or are used under licence. You may share links to our pages and quote short extracts with a link back. Please do not republish whole articles without permission.

No warranties

The site is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or that any product will meet your needs.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Wattfolk is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from products you buy from third parties after visiting it.
