Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
This policy explains what information Wattfolk (wattfolk.com) collects when you visit, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. If you email us or sign up for updates, we receive your name (if given), email address and message. We use it only to reply or to send the updates you asked for.
- Technical data. Like most websites, our host and security services record standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited and time of visit) to keep the site secure and working.
- Cookies. The site may set a small number of cookies needed for it to work. If we add analytics or newsletter tools, they may set their own cookies and this policy will be updated to name them.
Affiliate links
When you click a link to a retailer such as Amazon, that retailer may set a cookie to record that you arrived from Wattfolk. This is how we may earn a commission. The retailer’s own privacy policy covers what happens on their site.
Email updates
If you subscribe to email updates, we keep your email address only to send them. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
How long we keep information
Emails are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. Subscriber addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your choices and rights
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Depending on where you live (for example under the California Consumer Privacy Act, the GDPR or the UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. We do not sell personal information.
Children
Wattfolk is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
